A REQUEST TO THOSE POSTING CLASSIFIED ADS

I am now moderating the classified ad section of the forum.

One of the policies re: ads is that they are subject to removal after 60 days. I deleted quite a few pages of outdated ads over the past 10 days. And the room is less cluttered now.

Please, when an item you are listing has sold, or when you find what you are looking for, please modify the ad heading to say PLEASE DELETE.

If you post a reply to the ad stating this, it is unlikely I will see it unless I open every ad posted (and I'd prefer not having to do that!)

Only catch is that after a couple days, we cannot modify the title anymore... I think it's a three day limit.

I am working on that. Another option is for sellers and buyers to send me a note via private message.

A post of "Sold" in the thread.
One thing that matters is when you see a sold item you get a better understanding of values by the numbers present.

I'm not Greg, but when I post stuff for sale here, it see can it immediately after I post it. If you don't see your add, I would try reposting your it.

If you scan using the "unread posts" button, you will never see your ad -- you saw it!!
