Has anyone heard, played, written or otherwise done anything with train whistles and trombones? Some train horns sound like a glorious tbone choir chord just waiting to be written down.

There is a brass band arrangement of "Ticket to ride" which starts with hissing (steam) and train whistle sounds (muted cornets). Google ticket to ride brass band and you will find various YouTube versions.

There's an arrangement of "Wabash Cannonball" for Tuba-Euph quartet that works well with 2 Tenors, Tenor with F, and Bass. Also has a train whistle sound made by the players.
