If your conductor (or if you're the conductor) has posted next season's repertoire, what are you most looking forward to?
Orchestra 1:
Gershwin Concerto in F, Cuban Overture, Porgy and Bess
R-K: Scheherazade
Bolero
selections by the Moanin' Frogs (saxophone ensemble)
Rodgers and Hammerstein 75th anniversary (Pops concert)
Orchestra 2:
Shostakovich Symphony 12 "The Year 1917"
There are other pieces with this group, including one by Messaien (a first for me and for the life of me I can't remember the title) but the Shostakovich is the biggy.
