Conn 11H

Post by ttf_John the Theologian »

Found this on the Used Trombone website.  I can't find any info on this model-- the R serial number puts it in 1972, the transition period to Abilene.  It looks like a silver plated version of a Connquest.

Does anyone know anything about the 11H?

Here's the link:

That site really just lists ebay items. Nothing original as far as I know.

This horn was discussed in another thread http://tromboneforum.org/index.php?topic=69313.0

Yes, the site is just a sort of pass-through account for eBay listings, but it's a lot easier than searching through eBay.

The earlier discussion seems to confirm that an 11H is simply a 77H Connquest with nickel plating.  Does anyone know if it's lacquered over the nickel like 48Hs are?  The earlier discussion also brought up the question of a Coprion bell.  Anyone else know about that?
