I love this tune, and I love Dick Nash's solo.
I'm putting together a project I'm calling "Ballads, Bossas and Love Songs" and I'd love to play this tune. Anyone know where I can get this arrangement, or if not this one then something very like it?

No idea where to get the music. but this is such a lovely peace of music and great playing by Dick Nash! One of the pieces I used quite a lot to work on my phrasing, ballad playing and specifically try out different approaches to vibrato.

Dana, did you ever find an arrangement for this? I see that there is an arrangement by Ernie Barnard if you want to check it out; it includes an audio sample: https://www.ejazzlines.com/too-little-t ... ie-barnard
My folks had this Glenn Miller Reunion Band record that included this tune. It was beautifully played by Murray McEachern. Turns out it's posted on YouTube:
I hope these links work!

I did get an arrangement from someone here who was kind enough to send it to me. It was a big band arrangement like yours. But I still haven't found the arrangement of it, by Hank Mancini, as played by Dick Nash. And that's the one I want to play, or something very much like it. I might just ask someone to transcribe it for me since I can't find it.Leftybone wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 6:19 pm Dana, did you ever find an arrangement for this? I do love the way Murray Mac played. And it turns out Watrous played the original arrangement of it, too, though it was a very poor performance for him.
