Hi all!
I have been trying to improve my arranging skills by doing some arrangements for trombones and rhythm section. This is my latest effort. Hope you enjoy!
THANKS!

Nice! Are floral shirts required to play it?
I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are still missing!

Yes, there are not enough bass bone solos in the world!
<<Nice! Are floral shirts required to play it?>>
No, but it helps get you in the right mood!
Thanks for watching!

Good writing, good playing, nice production. The only thing missing (other than a bass trombone solo, of course) is your tenor solo. Trading 4s with the drums just wasn't enough for me. But bravo! Great job! And I have tremendous respect for the amount of time, talent, energy and money it must have taken to do this. Love it.

Re: 4 Trombones and Rhythm Section - How High the Moon
Thanks for the kind comments! I would love to have taken a full chorus for the tenor solo but I'm not much of an improviser. Truth be told, I wrote those trading 4 solos out beforehand. I just thought it would be fun for me to trade 4s with myself on drums! Thanks for watching!tbdana wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 9:15 am Good writing, good playing, nice production.
