Howdy!!
New here kinda? been browsing the site every so often for many years but never joined or said anything. Now I'm here to join the fun!
I tend to be a better caretaker and collector of horns than I am a player of them admittedly. But I enjoy all the horns nonetheless. I played back through high school and kinda stopped through college but now that I graduated, I have more time and leisure to play and more money to buy horns lol.
I currently own and play 3 funcitonal horns:
1. F.E. Olds Military Model (1930)
2. Bach Stradivarius 42BOR (Late 90's)
3. Yamaha Xeno YSL-882GO (2011-2012)
I have 2 project horns (for now; will probably expand)
1. Conn 4h bell (40's-50's i was told by the seller): has a dent on the art deco engraving and need a slide to match
2. F.E. Olds Military Model (1932): Has linear cracks on the bell and a large dent. slide has more chrome plating than the functional one but is a solid 3/10; probably just needs alignment and cleaning.
Horns that don't qualify as trombones:
1. Buescher TrueTone 400 (1938) [trumpet]
Not sure what the 2nd post should be about, but I'll figure it out! Suggestions welcome!
Hope to stay a long while,
Albert W

Moved to Tangents. Announcements are intended for Management to inform members. We probably should have a "Hello" Board, but we don't.

Thank you! sorry about that! I was kinda lost looking for a hidden hello board for a bit at the start but saw people posting hellos in the announcments board, so I posted there. My bad!

Don't let my horn collection fool you; I'm better at collecting than I am at playing.
