Moving again, which means time for another sell-off of less used horns. Both horns ship from Miami, FL
Conn 78H: .525 bore straight pipe instrument. The serial number starts with 390 which places it around 1950 (the rest of the SN has since rubbed off). Most of the lacquer is gone on the instrument but the brass is overall still in good condition (or so brass technicians have told me). The slide has some chrome plating that has gone, but it still moves pretty well, probably 7/10. The Bell is incredibly lively and resonant. Makes it a fun jazz horn if you want a little mellower sound. Recently professionally cleaned.
King 3B: This is a real beater of a horn. manufactured in the early 2000s, lived a hard life that involved an irresponsible teenager, marching band, and many, many, many cross country flights. Lots of little imperfections, but it still plays well. I recently took it on a short road trip to keep my chops in shape, and it still plays well. Great horn for someone who wants to step up to a pro level horn cheaply, or needs beater horn for bar gigs/marching bands.
