Flick button options

I'm now moving in the direction of using MobileSheets on a Chromebook, and looking at page turners. The most attractive one, by far, to me is the Flic button https://flic.io/. But I'm not particularly liking the idea of the ones (Flic-Grip) that clip onto the horn. I'm thinking more along the lines of the "Flic Button Metal Clip" (https://flic.io/shop/flic-2-metal-clip) maybe attached to shirt collar/neck; or the "Flic Textile Attachment" (https://flic.io/shop/flic-button-textile-attachment). The Textile Attachment seems more versatile -- but it's not clear what sort of "textile surface" will work with it (the ones they show are pretty "deep pile").

Has anyone had experience with either of these?

Yeah, but then I think of how much floor space there is left once I deploy all my bass trombone mutes, and my overall experience with foot controls (trolling motors, power tools, etc.). A foot pedal might work okay for practice at home and maybe in some performance settings, but overall I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be happy with it. This is particularly true for my current weekly rehearsal situation. Having an easily accessible button I can just tap (somewhere around the shoulder/chest/collarbone area) while continuing to hold the horn in the left hand seems like something that might work best for me.

However, these things are not expensive and I might just try out both a foot pedal and the Flic button. I just wondered about other people's experiences with the buttons.

I use the clip-on and find it convenient. That said, I’ve seen a photo of someone who has a strap that wraps around the right hand so that the button sits in the middle of the palm. I guess they use the middle or ring finger to operate.

That sounds clever,but for me I think that might mean instant hand cramps. Not to mention that I can't imagine its being comfortable with using the slide.

Just started using the Flic Grip. So far good position and function. Be sure to use 3M stick on velcro buttons. The Flic sticky really isn't adequate.

That looks pretty functional. If only you'd posted a couple of days ago. Oh well ... if the stuff I ordered doesn't work out, I'll get one of those brackets.
