Hello,

Can you tell me, what’s a good quality mute holder for trombone and why?

Hercules Stands HA100 Clamp-on Four Mute Holder, costs around $35. Easily attaches to music stand, golds up compactly to fit in mute bag and keeps mutes in easy reach.

The contest entry form said "Void where prohibited", so I peed on the Captain's desk.

That won't hold bass trombone mutes. But this one will!

I use this for all my bass and tenor mutes.

I use those as well for both bass & tenor mutes. They are fantastic. You can also buy the various sized rings separately from this seller if you want to customize the setup to better accommodate your mutes.

I also very much appreciate the clamp vs. the threaded knob attachment to the stand shaft.
