I thought Allied had them. Sacrifice a vintage 77H slide to appease the 6H gods?

Allied and Conn-Selmer will both have suitable inner tubes. Any technician will be able to source appropriate parts.

Allied has several other .500 inner tubes that would work, too, if the Conn ones are unavailable. Yamaha, too.

Just make sure that the outer dimensions on the inner tubes match the outer dimensions of the original tubes. One would think any .500 bore tube would BUT that might not be the case. Compression has to be taken into account as well.

Allied sources them from Conn-Selmer, who unfortunately doesn't show any in stock at the moment.

No surprise there.

There are plenty of other options for .500 bore inners with appropriately sized stockings, and the option to replace both inners and outers for appropriate clearances. Again, the tech doing the work will most likely be able to source parts to accommodate the needs of the player.

I bought Conn 100H tubes. They look good. It was Bruce Belo's suggestion. I haven't soldered them in yet, but I know that are a good choice. I got them from Allied.

Thanks Bill. I’ve budgeted a slide rebuild. Please let me know the results.
