Does any have an opinion on Arnould and Sons Bass trombones.
I have been looking to get a bass trombone but I was trying to get the best deal I can and I found a listing for a bass trombone from Arnould and Sons I have never heard of it but I didn't know if it was good or just a china horn to stay away from. It was an Arnould and Sons ASB-6112 if anyone has an opinion.

It's just another Chinese 7B stencil.

If you want to go cheap and take a chance, Monzani (musicstore.com) has been getting talked up on Dave Werden's tuba/euph forum. You might want to take a look at what's been said there:

The bass offered by the Music Store is a Yamaha clone (rather than the 7B clone, a version of which I have from Schiller). Depending on your criteria and sense of adventure, that may be an option ...

Getting "the best deal" and getting a quality horn seldom go hand in hand, at least in the broad sense.IanBassBone wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 5:03 pm I have been looking to get a bass trombone but I was trying to get the best deal I can
If you want a GOOD Bass Trombone (at least, a dual-valved one) I'd be prepared to spend.
