New Throja Bass Trombone Valve Section

Post by Bassix »

Hallo everyone, :hi:
i just wanted to share the new valve section I got from Throja Berlin.
It features Meinlschmidt Open Flow Valves, independent setup in F/Gb/D all goldbrass tubing, goldbrass Bell and a Screw-Bell.
The bore is huge but dont feels that way 😍

Plays absolutely fantastic, free and even plus the stunning looks…
:pant:

Have a nice day!

Interesting design. I know people have commented that they love the way these play. What's different? What's better?

You mean the valves?
Nearly a feeling of Hagmanns, but with slightly more resistance and first of all more resonance.
Plays even through the registers while being low maintenance and having a short throw.

They are on the larger side compared to normal Meinlschmidt valves

Sure. The valves. The way the horn blows with that design. There are always differences in every design that's realized. I'm not questioning it-I'm just interested.

The Horn blows very even and stable. More Center and projection imcluded.
Compared to the normal Meinlschmidts much freer, open and even.

Hope I described it much better 🙈

If that horn plays as good as it looks, it's a winner! Congrats.

Play long and prosper.
