Early Music Summer Workshops (Sackbut)

I generally try not to post anything relating to my own work, but with increased (or at least more outspoken) interest in sackbut on here, I figure the time is right.   

If you're looking to get into the world of early trombone in the US, you might consider one or more of the early music workshops that happen during the summer. In addition to learning from experienced performers on the instrument, it's a great opportunity to meet others with similar interests and play lots of the great music that we hardly ever see in the modern world.

Below are only the workshops with which I have some connection (taught by me or one of my section mates) this year, but other early music types are welcome to add to the thread if so inclined.

I was about to create such a thread myself.

Eric already mentioned MEMF, but it cannot be recommended enough - it is an amazing festival, in a really nice and relaxing location (lots of cheap, good, local beer and ice cream on a lakeside terrasse after every day of hard work  ). Greg is great to work with. Really nice and varied course offer (not all of which involve playing). The downside is there is not as much group sackbut playing as other festivals - the upside is there is much more other nice things to do. Also, comparatively very cheap. I will be attending again this year (looking forward to meeting you, Eric!)

I very strongly recommend this one as well. Linda is an outstanding bass sackbut player and teacher, and cornetti and sackbuts typically have joint classes, so you get to work with Bruce Dickey, one of the pioneers (and top performer) of early brass playing for the last 5 decades - it doesn't really get any better than that... To the opposite of MEMF, there are less varied things to do, but you spend almost the whole day working with fellow sackbuts and cornetti

First time this is happening, very promising based on who's on the Faculty. Adam is great at running this kind of event. Also, they have 4-5 sackbuts that can be hired for a small fee, for people who don't own one!
