Hey there folks,
Anyone know of a good equivalent to a Protec ProPac for combination valve/slide horns? I have a wooden Getzen case that's built like a tank, but weighs as much, too. Wondering if an iPac bass case would be customizable enough.
Lightweight/backpack case for valve 'bone?

The protec platinum series actually works well for mine. Conn 5G valve block with 3B bell section. I can try to remember to snap some pictures this week

Thanks, Matt! I'd sure appreciate that. I'm driving an Olds valve section with an Olds Studio bell; may change bells later.

I would say it probably would fit but I don't know if I would recommend it. The slide compartment is adjustable so you can widen it. Maybe you could get protec to include a 2nd slide seperator and attach it to the primary slide seperator. The valve section is pretty heavy though so I'd be worried about it warping the slide imo
