Re: Another Trombonist Gone
When I was a student in NYC, I was at Giardinelli's one day trying out horns or mouthpieces or some other equipment. I could hear another trombonist in a nearby room. Soon there was a knock at the door, and when I opened it, there was Conrad. He was very nice and complimentary, and wanted my opinion on whatever it was that he was trying. I recognized him immediately, because Mork & Mindy was on TV at the time, and I was a fan of the show. Sorry to hear that he has passed, but it sounds like he had a long life and a busy career. Nice man - RIP.
