Vintage Trombone Oil
My sister found this survivor in an antique shop in French Lick, Indiana and kindly got it for me. I checked on the address in Indianapolis and the structure there has been a private residence for many years. So, I guess Mr. Kisler made this stuff in his basement / garage.

Union label on the bottom is neat! Cool find. Have you tried it out on any of your slides?

I wouldn't. It probably can't hold a candle to any of the stuff we use today.spencercarran wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 12:28 pm Union label on the bottom is neat! Cool find. Have you tried it out on any of your slides?
Besides, often the lubricity of oil decreases with age.
It's an interesting artifact. Leave it at that.
