I've recently purchased a used 622 bass. One of the features that sold me on this instrument was the fact that you can remove the second valve and play it as a single.
Am I correct in saying that the instrument should have come with an additional short slide that allows one to reconnect the F tubing when the second valve is out?
If you, can anyone out there give me advice on how to obtain this slide - perhaps a part number or specs or something? All my research has led me to information on the 822 model.
Also, has anyone experimented with a different lead pipe?
Thank you in advance to all forum members.

The part code is D0330020 - it's the same on the 622 and 822. See here.
