What are you favourite ways to cover off your technique work in the practice room in an efficient manner?
For example, I like to play Bordogni/Rochut exercises in tenor clef, but down an octave. This puts the etudes into the perfect bass trombone range (flow in an out of the valve range) and keeps my tenor clef reading sharp for the occasions it appears on a gig.

For instance, on flexies, different tempos, times, starting notes, subdivisions, tonguings, moving the slide, on and on, one after another. It's really easy to get fixated on a classic exercise or whatever is written on a page.
