New FB Group for brass players interested in home recording

Post by Mikebmiller »

Hey everybody - Happy New Year and all that. I just started a new FB group which is intended to join together brass players who are doing overdubs or other recording in a home studio. There are ton of audio and recording groups on FB, but most of them are dominated by the guitar/bass/drums crowd. Nothing wrong with that, but I wanted a place to specifically discuss recording for brass players. If you have an interest in that subject, please pop over and join us:

Not to brag, but we are over 400 members in that group now, with lots of interesting discussions and videos. We are having a Zoom Q&A session next Tuesday night with a Nashville based freelance trumpet guy who has played on a bunch of Grammy winning records. We would love to have you.

Thanks for sharing this. I would like to perform music again in some shape or form, but I'm a complete novice at this. It really bums me out. Excited to learn a few things...
