Little Girl

Post by bellend »

Here's another from my old mate Ian Moffat.

Here's what he had to say about it ..... Enjoy :good:

This arrangement was originally written for the trombone section of the Lawrence Welk Orchestra - Kenny Trimble, Barney Liddell, Bob Havens and Pete Lofthouse. Their broadcast performance from February 2nd 1963 is one of my favourite clips of that era. The arrangement is fantastically well crafted and the section playing immaculate. I transcribed the arrangement in the summer of 2020 during the Covid19 shutdown of the music industry and persuaded a few good friends to join me in bringing this classic Trombone Section feature back to life for the 21st Century. My eternal thanks to Jon Stokes, Tom Dunnett, Simon Minshall, Joe Pettitt and Dave Tandy for their contributions to this endeavour. I hope you all enjoy: Little Girl!

Outstanding. And I like the way you did the video, nice perspective.
