I think ill use this thread to put any youtube videos that i really like and want to share, not primarily about trombone, just stuff that interests me.

I heard this group not too long ago at Symphony center in Chicago. Amazing. Wynton is absolutely no joke.

Yeah he's pretty crazy.

The arrangement of "Billie Jean" he did with BBC Proms is pretty great once it gets going after a few minutes. The reharmonizations are really fresh.


I assume you saw this solo of his that was making rounds a few years ago:


And his organ play is great too.

at the 2018 DBTO we had a buzzing warmup with Ron Wilkins. All 50+ of us at the same time! There's a lot of things like that at DBTO.

Another interesting thing is the description. It says he’s a bach artist. Isn’t his horn a magical 50 new york bell with shires axials and edwards slide? I wouldn’t imagine that you could be a brands artist while playing a frankenbone
