Building Karma one tuba at a time...
Saw a garage sale posted on line that had a tuba and trombone; no descriptions, just a fuzzy picture of the closed cases. The tbone was a Conn Director that had seen better days but for some reason I bought it. The tuba was a brand I had never heard of - E W Wilson, Boston, MA - but was in very nice condition and had extra tuning slides in the case. I have seen enough Chinese clone brass to know it was probably a stencil JinBao. The seller was asking only $200. I let a buddy of mine know about it. He went nuts! He has a very nice pro quality rotary valve tuba and wanted this one for backup, outdoor gigs, etc. I got him in contact with the seller and he bought it. He said it plays very well, all it needed was new valve pads. I'm getting a six pack of my choice for helping him out.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are still missing!
