Announcing New England Musicians' Relief Fund. A group of musicians, arts administrators, and arts patrons has formed to raise money to help professional musicians in need. Our first campaign is for the immediate needs of musicians while our livelihood is decimated by the pandemic, and we have partnered with the national organization Sweet Relief to that end. But we will not be stopping there. Please visit our website, give whatever you can, and share widely.

Of course, this is specific to my region, but Sweet Relief is a national organization for the entire United States: https://www.sweetrelief.org/ They have funds specific to other regions as well, if you want to target the area where you live.
There are similar funds elsewhere, including:
Help Musicians in the UK https://www.helpmusicians.org.uk/
The Actors Fund, which is not limited to actors https://actorsfund.org/
MusiCares, sponsored by the Grammys https://www.grammy.com/musicares
I know many on this forum are amateur musicians who make their livings in other fields. If you have the capacity to do so, please pick one of these charities and give some money. Professional musicians are really struggling right now.
