Anyone bought the Jay Friedman Masyerclass DVD

Post by harrisonreed »

Brassark produced a DVD called "Jay Friedman: elements of sound". Anybody buy this? Thoughts?

I was going to, but I bought another mouthpiece instead.

The mouthpiece is for sale in the classifieds!

Yep - I have a copy. Noah Gladstone did a good job producing it with Friedman. It's like a crash course in Friedman's playing/teaching philosophy. Lots of tips and some playing examples by Jay. I highly recommend it for all the trombone nerds out there.

I second what castrubone said. Lots of interesting bits of wisdom to be found in this DVD

Too bad they want $35 for it. I’d buy it for a reasonable price.

Why is $35 not reasonable?

How much do you think would be reasonable?
